Our new Baked Oats product line combines the warming recipe of the old Groningen 'Poffert' with the ingredients of a nutritious oat breakfast.

Poffert was traditionally made by steaming a yeast dough filled with currants and raisins in the oven. It was often topped with syrup, sugar and melted butter and eaten as a main meal.

This recipe inspired Michel to create our Baked Oats. The result: a delicious breakfast or snack (on the go) made from nutritious ingredients such as oat and almond flour and richly filled with fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Cooked at a low temperature and ready-to-eat.

Preparation advice:

Use: Straight from the jar or briefly warmed in the microwave, au bain marie.

Serving tip: Garnish with fresh fruit and/or (plant-based) yoghurt.

Storage:

Do not use if the lid can be pressed down.

Unopened, keeps for 550 days, store in a dark environment at 0°C to 30°C.

Once opened, keeps for 2 days at 4°C to 7°C
